FCC-H4P PARTNERSHIP
FCC’S PHILANTHROPIC WORK: EMPOWERING PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Fire City Chapel, the home of Word Fire Generation Ministries, is dedicated to training leaders, transforming generations and representing divinity. At the heart of our mission lies a commitment to supporting the vulnerable in society, particularly Persons with Disabilities (PWDs), through various impactful initiatives.
H4P-FCC PARTNERSHIP
In 2019, FCC proudly established a formal partnership with the H4P Organization, dedicated to championing the cause of persons with disabilities. Through this collaboration, we have strived to bring dignity and support to individuals and families facing the challenges of disability. Here are some of the key projects undertaken through the FCC–H4P Partnership:
• H4P Celebration of Love Projects: We organize free health screening exercises in special needs schools, extending a helping hand to meet the health needs of many PWDs.
• Sponsorship of the Helping Hand TV Show: As proud sponsors of Ghana's first TV program, the Helping Hand TV Show, spotlighting the abilities of PWDs, we aim to promote inclusivity and celebrate the successes and talents within our community.
• Periodic Donations and Support: We provide ongoing assistance to PWDs and special institutions, offering resources and aid to those in need.
• Refurbishment and Adoption of Female Wards: FCC’s partnership with H4P has undertaken the refurbishment and adoption of female wards at Manna Mission Hospital, ensuring a comfortable and supportive environment for patients.
• Availability of FCC Facility for Disability-related Events: We open our doors to host disability-related events, such as the Ability Praise Concert (APC) - currently the biggest entertainment platform in Ghana that presents a platform for Persons with disability (PWDs) to showcase their talents and abilities and the ability in the Arts and Entertainment industry, providing a welcoming space for advocacy and community engagement.
• Organizing Ticketed Events: Proceeds from our ticketed events, including drama and melodrama concerts, contribute to supporting H4P projects and initiatives.
OTHER PHILANTHROPIC ACTIVITIES
In addition to our partnership with H4P, FCC is actively engaged in various other philanthropic endeavors, including:
• Free Medical Outreach: We conduct medical outreach programs in Teshie, providing essential healthcare services to underserved communities.
• Christmas Parties for Children: We host joyful Christmas parties for children, spreading cheer and creating lasting memories for those in need.
• Donation to LEKMA Hospital NICU: We extend support to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at LEKMA Hospital, aiding in the care and well-being of newborns and their families.
